- From Assen (A28):
Groningen-Ring-Oost (East). Follow the ring road until the exit for Winsum/Lauwersoog (N361). 5 km before Lauwersoog, turn left at the Ballastplaat exit and follow the signs for Landal Natuurdorp Suyderoogh. - From Leeuwarden (N 355):
Take the N355 from Leeuwarden. In Dokkum, take the N361 to Lauwersoog. After the locks in Lauwersoog, head towards Groningen for 5 km. Turn right towards Ballastplaat and follow the signs for Landal Natuurdorp Suyderoogh. - From Almere, Joure or Utrecht, Amersfoort, Zwolle:
Heerenveen, Drachten richting Groningen exit (31). Groningen take the exit for Frieschepalen (N358) towards Surhuisterveen, Buitenpost, Kollum, Anjum towards Lauwersoog (N361). After the locks, drive 5 km towards Groningen, turn right towards Ballastplaat and follow the signs for Landal Natuurdorp Suyderoogh.

Public transport
Landal Natuurdorp Suyderoogh is not within easy access by public transportation.
