Experience a traditional Dutch holiday from the comfort of your stylish villa, modern apartment or luxury seaside beach hut, located on a stunning Green Key resort in the northernmost region of Holland.
Close to an award-winning Blue Flag beach - with its golden sands and wide horizons - and traditional, centuries-old cities like Hoorn, Medemblik and Enkhuizen all nearby, the surrounding area is just as much fun as the park. Head off on a bike ride to explore the nearby farms, stop to pick flowers from fields of colourful tulips, then head back to enjoy an early evening drink on the brasserie terrace, while the kids enjoy some indoor play.
Offering plenty of activities for all age groups, Ooghduyne is the perfect place for a family holiday with superb golfing, bowling and tennis facilities all on site. Spend leisurely days relaxing poolside, splashing down slides or relaxing in the whirlpools. Or pack up a wagon with treats for a picnic lunch and sandcastle building at the beach. For the more active adventurer, head out to enjoy thrill-seeking watersports like canoeing and surfing, sailing and even kite surfing the waves.
Day trips include climbing through the leafy canopy at De Klimvallei (Climb Valley) or fishing on large, glassy Amstelmeer lake, perfect for keen anglers. And just eight kilometers away, Texel is a paradise for hikers. Enjoy a bracing walk along the coastal path, past the lighthouse and take in the stunning sea views. Or visit Kijkduin Fort and follow in Napoleon’s footsteps to learn how soldiers once defended these ancient lands. Now fully restored, the fort offers a fascinating insight into the local history and heritage of the area.
A resort for all seasons, experience Holland at its finest from your luxury base at Landal Beach Resort Ooghduyne.

Just returned from our week at Darwin Forest for February half term, which was fabulous. We stayed in a Chatsworth Elite 2 Bedroom lodge which was warm and toasty even though there were blizzard conditions outside for our first couple of days. From our welcome at Reception, to the staff at Evolution, and those running the activities we booked for our 8-year old (archery and waterwalkerz), everyone was friendly and helpful. There's plenty to do in the area, and we will definitely return. Thanks!!

We have never visited Darwin Forest Holiday Park before, but we had a fantastic holiday and were very impressed with how well the Park was organised and managed. The Lodge was exceptionally well equipped and furnished, as well as being spotlessly clean. The facilities on the site were excellent, especially the swimming pool and the the Foresters Restaurant. The surrounding countyside was ideal for walking, and we will definitely be coming back for another holiday.

Love this place! Home from from with peace and relaxation. Lodges are well equipped, clean and inviting. Just hope it's popularity doesn't change anything.

This was one of the best holidays we've ever had and will definitely go again, we went to see the dark skies and hopefully the aurora borealis and were not disappointed. The lodge was great especially the hot tub which we loved , never having been in one before

We had such a fantastic time, my children lost their tiny minds with how wonderful the place was. Pool, park and squirrels what more could you ask for. The staff made the experience even better, from skilled archery instructor to extremely knowledgeable reception staff who helped us plan our weekend away even in the off season.

We had a fantastic 4days at Keilder. The lodge was lovely, very clean and warm. There was everything we needed and the staff were on hand when we requested information on the area. One of our party made use of the pool and sauna facilities. We ate in the bar/restaurant twice during our stay. The food was exceptionally good and reasonably priced. The area is outstanding with lovely walks straight from the lodge. No need to use your car if you want a complete break.. unfortunately it was cloudy day and night so we didn't see the dark skies but we will certainly be going back for another try. Thank you to the friendly staff who made sure we had a really good experience.
