Accommodation on site

Bordering both Limburg and North Brabant, Landal De Vers is a picture-perfect woodland park, located next to the peaceful village of Overloon, just a couple of miles from the River Meuse. This idyllic location makes it the ultimate destination for adventuring. From scenic bike rides through tree-lined hilltops to hikes across the Overloonsche Dunes, Landal De Vers is a dream come true for lovers of the natural world and the great outdoors.
Discover Maasduinen National Park, where the landscape is largely made up of thick forests and heather moorland that line a sandy plateau by the river’s flowing stream – perfect for summertime hikes. Time has taken its unique toll on Maasduinen over millennia, etching magical patterns of sandy ridges, and duneland into the terrain.
Adventure also awaits those brave enough to climb the rope ladders, conquer the bridges and swing down the ziplines through the treetops at KlimKong Climbing Forest in Overloon. A fantastic day out, get the whole family involved and see who’s really the king or queen of the jungle. Or why not spend a day at the historic War Museum or the Overloon ZooParc?
There are so many activities to enjoy. Miniature golf, ten pin bowling, trampolining, football, tennis, or making splash in the indoor pool, are just a few things to do on site. On warmer days, make your way to the water’s edge and plunge into the clear blue pools of the ‘t Schaartven recreational lake in Holtheserdijk, or spend lazy summer days reading a book while the children build sandcastles. With a host of cosy cafes, terrace bars and beautiful restaurants to enjoy after activity-filled days out, your stay can be as relaxing or as exhilarating as you choose.

Just returned from our week at Darwin Forest for February half term, which was fabulous. We stayed in a Chatsworth Elite 2 Bedroom lodge which was warm and toasty even though there were blizzard conditions outside for our first couple of days. From our welcome at Reception, to the staff at Evolution, and those running the activities we booked for our 8-year old (archery and waterwalkerz), everyone was friendly and helpful. There's plenty to do in the area, and we will definitely return. Thanks!!

We have never visited Darwin Forest Holiday Park before, but we had a fantastic holiday and were very impressed with how well the Park was organised and managed. The Lodge was exceptionally well equipped and furnished, as well as being spotlessly clean. The facilities on the site were excellent, especially the swimming pool and the the Foresters Restaurant. The surrounding countyside was ideal for walking, and we will definitely be coming back for another holiday.

Love this place! Home from from with peace and relaxation. Lodges are well equipped, clean and inviting. Just hope it's popularity doesn't change anything.

This was one of the best holidays we've ever had and will definitely go again, we went to see the dark skies and hopefully the aurora borealis and were not disappointed. The lodge was great especially the hot tub which we loved , never having been in one before

We had such a fantastic time, my children lost their tiny minds with how wonderful the place was. Pool, park and squirrels what more could you ask for. The staff made the experience even better, from skilled archery instructor to extremely knowledgeable reception staff who helped us plan our weekend away even in the off season.

We had a fantastic 4days at Keilder. The lodge was lovely, very clean and warm. There was everything we needed and the staff were on hand when we requested information on the area. One of our party made use of the pool and sauna facilities. We ate in the bar/restaurant twice during our stay. The food was exceptionally good and reasonably priced. The area is outstanding with lovely walks straight from the lodge. No need to use your car if you want a complete break.. unfortunately it was cloudy day and night so we didn't see the dark skies but we will certainly be going back for another try. Thank you to the friendly staff who made sure we had a really good experience.
