Found on the highest point of Cauberg Hill, one of Holland’s best-known spots for cycling, Landal Kasteeldomein De Cauberg’s majestic location in South Limburg is the perfect place for an escape into the great outdoors.
With over 190 attractive villas and apartments, all connected by minature pathways, the resort enjoys a small town atmosphere and resembles a quintessential, quiet country village. Head out into the vast, surrounding green hills of Limburg, where scenic hiking trails and historic cities like Maastricht scatter its attractive landscape. Visit Valkenburg, just a five-minute walk away from the resort, where you’ll find a tempting range of pubs, shops and restaurants, as well a labyrinth of underground caves and the imposing remains of a 14th-century medieval castle. The perfect place for a family day out.
Head out of town for the slides and rapids at Polfermolen sports and leisure centre. Or, with so many activities on site, it’s easy for the kids to meet new people and make new friends. Spend hours on the multisports playing field, rallying on the table tennis courts or challenging the family to a competitive game of boules. There’s even a games rental facility, so you can enjoy some traditional fun after a day adventuring.
Indulge in special, local beers, ice creams, or snacks to take out. Or treat the family to a candlelit dinner at De Zoete Zoen Restaurant. And then, when the day is done, head for a relaxing evening at Thermae 2OOO spa or a game of blackjack before bed at the Holland Casino.

Just returned from our week at Darwin Forest for February half term, which was fabulous. We stayed in a Chatsworth Elite 2 Bedroom lodge which was warm and toasty even though there were blizzard conditions outside for our first couple of days. From our welcome at Reception, to the staff at Evolution, and those running the activities we booked for our 8-year old (archery and waterwalkerz), everyone was friendly and helpful. There's plenty to do in the area, and we will definitely return. Thanks!!

We have never visited Darwin Forest Holiday Park before, but we had a fantastic holiday and were very impressed with how well the Park was organised and managed. The Lodge was exceptionally well equipped and furnished, as well as being spotlessly clean. The facilities on the site were excellent, especially the swimming pool and the the Foresters Restaurant. The surrounding countyside was ideal for walking, and we will definitely be coming back for another holiday.

Love this place! Home from from with peace and relaxation. Lodges are well equipped, clean and inviting. Just hope it's popularity doesn't change anything.

This was one of the best holidays we've ever had and will definitely go again, we went to see the dark skies and hopefully the aurora borealis and were not disappointed. The lodge was great especially the hot tub which we loved , never having been in one before

We had such a fantastic time, my children lost their tiny minds with how wonderful the place was. Pool, park and squirrels what more could you ask for. The staff made the experience even better, from skilled archery instructor to extremely knowledgeable reception staff who helped us plan our weekend away even in the off season.

We had a fantastic 4days at Keilder. The lodge was lovely, very clean and warm. There was everything we needed and the staff were on hand when we requested information on the area. One of our party made use of the pool and sauna facilities. We ate in the bar/restaurant twice during our stay. The food was exceptionally good and reasonably priced. The area is outstanding with lovely walks straight from the lodge. No need to use your car if you want a complete break.. unfortunately it was cloudy day and night so we didn't see the dark skies but we will certainly be going back for another try. Thank you to the friendly staff who made sure we had a really good experience.
