It is the most beautiful relaxing place which is why we keep coming back!
Just returned from our week at Darwin Forest for February half term, which was fabulous. We stayed in a Chatsworth Elite 2 Bedroom lodge which was warm and toasty even though there were blizzard conditions outside for our first couple of days. From our welcome at Reception, to the staff at Evolution, and those running the activities we booked for our 8-year old (archery and waterwalkerz), everyone was friendly and helpful. There's plenty to do in the area, and we will definitely return. Thanks!!
We have never visited Darwin Forest Holiday Park before, but we had a fantastic holiday and were very impressed with how well the Park was organised and managed. The Lodge was exceptionally well equipped and furnished, as well as being spotlessly clean. The facilities on the site were excellent, especially the swimming pool and the the Foresters Restaurant. The surrounding countyside was ideal for walking, and we will definitely be coming back for another holiday.
Lovely stay, clean lodge, great location, would highly recommend
Love this place! Home from from with peace and relaxation. Lodges are well equipped, clean and inviting. Just hope it's popularity doesn't change anything.
This was one of the best holidays we've ever had and will definitely go again, we went to see the dark skies and hopefully the aurora borealis and were not disappointed. The lodge was great especially the hot tub which we loved , never having been in one before
We had such a fantastic time, my children lost their tiny minds with how wonderful the place was. Pool, park and squirrels what more could you ask for. The staff made the experience even better, from skilled archery instructor to extremely knowledgeable reception staff who helped us plan our weekend away even in the off season.
Lovely relaxing break. Hot tub was fab. Lovely lodge immaculate everything u need included

We had a fantastic 4days at Keilder. The lodge was lovely, very clean and warm. There was everything we needed and the staff were on hand when we requested information on the area. One of our party made use of the pool and sauna facilities. We ate in the bar/restaurant twice during our stay. The food was exceptionally good and reasonably priced. The area is outstanding with lovely walks straight from the lodge. No need to use your car if you want a complete break.. unfortunately it was cloudy day and night so we didn't see the dark skies but we will certainly be going back for another try. Thank you to the friendly staff who made sure we had a really good experience.

Do a few laps in the pool with its rapids and whirlpool, whiz down the slide or splash in the paddling pool. Practice your aim at the archery range or watch the children kick a ball on the playing field, have a game of table tennis or take to your bike and explore the surroundings.
Enjoy a meal at Brasserie Miggelenberg where gluten free meals are available. Share a pizza with the children from the takeaway or grab a tasty treat at the snack shop.
Relax and unwind in the beauty salon. On selected days of the week you can enjoy a relaxing massage or facial.
Get back to nature and explore Monkey Park Apenheul which is home to a vast array of monkeys. Enjoying the ‘high life’ these monkeys spend their days swinging through trees in a lush green environment away from bars and cages. But watch out for your belongings, as monkeys have a keen eye for anything that isn’t theirs!
Both adults and children alike will enjoy a trip to Burger’s Zoo. There are penguins, chimpanzees, gorillas and great apes to name but a few. The animals here live as naturally as possible making this a memorable day out for all the family.
Spend a day getting back to nature with a trip to The Hoge Veluwe National Park. This vast landscape has so much diversity with a wealth of plants and animals which call this their home. From mixed forests and heaths to grass plains there is so much to discover. So pull on your walking boots and escape to the great outdoors!
Entertain the children for the day with a trip to Julianatoren Amusement Park with over 60 attractions to enjoy. From shows to treasure hunts and dinosaur tours you will be sure to keep little ones busy!
Visit Palace Het Loo, a former royal palace which is now open to the public. As you work your way through this historic building you will learn how a family would live and work for 300 years. The gardens are also now fully restored with fountains and a croquet lawn.
