Among the wide beaches, wild dunes and seafaring towns, villages and cities of Zeeland, Landal Nieuwvliet-Bad is an idyllic, ultra-modern coastal retreat.

Nestled behind the stunning coastline of Zeeland’s Nieuwvliet-Bad, discover a slower pace, where relaxing activities like fishing and golfing are part of everyday life. On site, take your pick between modern bungalows, pretty farmhouses or luxury riverside lodges – all within walking distance of the beautiful beachfront. The resort’s unique location provides plenty of picturesque islands and peninsulas to discover. Head out for a day to explore the Verdronken Zwarte Polder nature reserve, or cross over the nearby border to visit the historic Belgian cities of Knokke, Bruges or Ghent. Or hike to the Fronalpstock, a majestic mountain peak with magnificent views over the Swiss lakes.

During summer, Zeeland’s micro-climate means there are more hours of sunshine than any other area of Holland. Cast a line into the creek, brave the waves and learn to surf, or hire some bikes with the whole family. Immerse yourself in the peace and quiet of a region where open landscapes are home to culture-rich towns like Sluis. Spend a day exploring this welcoming and atmospheric shopping town’s cobbled lanes and quaint canals. Or bring a fresh catch of the day back home to cook up yourself. Enjoy a pre-dinner swim followed by an evening drink at the bar. Or head out as a family for a delicious lunch on the terrace or a mouthwatering Mediterranean-style meal at Heerlickheijd Restaurant.

Just returned from our week at Darwin Forest for February half term, which was fabulous. We stayed in a Chatsworth Elite 2 Bedroom lodge which was warm and toasty even though there were blizzard conditions outside for our first couple of days. From our welcome at Reception, to the staff at Evolution, and those running the activities we booked for our 8-year old (archery and waterwalkerz), everyone was friendly and helpful. There's plenty to do in the area, and we will definitely return. Thanks!!

We have never visited Darwin Forest Holiday Park before, but we had a fantastic holiday and were very impressed with how well the Park was organised and managed. The Lodge was exceptionally well equipped and furnished, as well as being spotlessly clean. The facilities on the site were excellent, especially the swimming pool and the the Foresters Restaurant. The surrounding countyside was ideal for walking, and we will definitely be coming back for another holiday.

This was one of the best holidays we've ever had and will definitely go again, we went to see the dark skies and hopefully the aurora borealis and were not disappointed. The lodge was great especially the hot tub which we loved , never having been in one before

We had such a fantastic time, my children lost their tiny minds with how wonderful the place was. Pool, park and squirrels what more could you ask for. The staff made the experience even better, from skilled archery instructor to extremely knowledgeable reception staff who helped us plan our weekend away even in the off season.

We had a fantastic 4days at Keilder. The lodge was lovely, very clean and warm. There was everything we needed and the staff were on hand when we requested information on the area. One of our party made use of the pool and sauna facilities. We ate in the bar/restaurant twice during our stay. The food was exceptionally good and reasonably priced. The area is outstanding with lovely walks straight from the lodge. No need to use your car if you want a complete break.. unfortunately it was cloudy day and night so we didn't see the dark skies but we will certainly be going back for another try. Thank you to the friendly staff who made sure we had a really good experience.
