Discover a unique natural paradise of soaring peaks, glistening turquoise lakes and untouched alpine forests. During winter, the park is transformed into the ultimate ski resort. Thick snow blankets the region, making way for 35 km of slopes and cross-country trails, plus an extensive ski land for children to safely test their skills. While summertime opens up an abundance of outdoor activities. Scale the giants, Mt. Rigi and Mt. Pilatus, or go horse riding in the hills. Swim laps of the outdoor pool or take the kids along to the Children’s Club, where they’ll learn to bake biscuits and facepaint. Enjoy a game of ten pin bowling in the sports bar, tackle the indoor climbing wall, burn rubber on the go-karting course or improve your aim in a relaxing round of miniature golf. If you want to explore, simply hire some bikes for the day and set off on an adventure through sun-dappled tracks and some of Switzerland’s most idyllic scenery. Off site, visit nearby Zurich, where magnificent views of the snow-capped Alps are seen along the horizon. The city itself is rich in culture, famed for its fashion, food, architecture and over 100 art galleries. Back on site, luxury lodges and traditional wooden ski chalets dot the sloping grasslands close to the rest of the park. Indulge in seasonal dishes and local delicacies at one of the resort’s four restaurants, wind down at the Travellers Bar with cocktails and live music, or make the most of our fresh bread roll and grocery packages.

It is the most beautiful relaxing place which is why we keep coming back!
Just returned from our week at Darwin Forest for February half term, which was fabulous. We stayed in a Chatsworth Elite 2 Bedroom lodge which was warm and toasty even though there were blizzard conditions outside for our first couple of days. From our welcome at Reception, to the staff at Evolution, and those running the activities we booked for our 8-year old (archery and waterwalkerz), everyone was friendly and helpful. There's plenty to do in the area, and we will definitely return. Thanks!!
We have never visited Darwin Forest Holiday Park before, but we had a fantastic holiday and were very impressed with how well the Park was organised and managed. The Lodge was exceptionally well equipped and furnished, as well as being spotlessly clean. The facilities on the site were excellent, especially the swimming pool and the the Foresters Restaurant. The surrounding countyside was ideal for walking, and we will definitely be coming back for another holiday.
Lovely stay, clean lodge, great location, would highly recommend
Love this place! Home from from with peace and relaxation. Lodges are well equipped, clean and inviting. Just hope it's popularity doesn't change anything.
This was one of the best holidays we've ever had and will definitely go again, we went to see the dark skies and hopefully the aurora borealis and were not disappointed. The lodge was great especially the hot tub which we loved , never having been in one before
We had such a fantastic time, my children lost their tiny minds with how wonderful the place was. Pool, park and squirrels what more could you ask for. The staff made the experience even better, from skilled archery instructor to extremely knowledgeable reception staff who helped us plan our weekend away even in the off season.
Lovely relaxing break. Hot tub was fab. Lovely lodge immaculate everything u need included
We had a fantastic 4days at Keilder. The lodge was lovely, very clean and warm. There was everything we needed and the staff were on hand when we requested information on the area. One of our party made use of the pool and sauna facilities. We ate in the bar/restaurant twice during our stay. The food was exceptionally good and reasonably priced. The area is outstanding with lovely walks straight from the lodge. No need to use your car if you want a complete break.. unfortunately it was cloudy day and night so we didn't see the dark skies but we will certainly be going back for another try. Thank you to the friendly staff who made sure we had a really good experience.
we ate out a couple times in the bar both times very good meals & good value for money leisure facilities were clean & well organised all staff very helpful
