Here you can hike through open moorlands, peaceful woodlands and scenic valleys, past spectacular waterfalls and up to lofty peaks. As an International Dark Sky Reserve, a visit after dark will reveal the Milky Way, major constellations and even meteor showers.

Laugharne Castle is both a medieval castle and Tudor mansion. Poet Dylan Thomas, Laugharne’s most famous resident, wrote Portrait of the Artist as a Young Dog in the castle summerhouse. Nowadays the castle is open for day visits and hosts a range of exciting events throughout the year.

This picture-perfect seaside town boasts three golden beaches, a harbour, a promenade and plenty of cobbled streets to explore. Ice creams, deck-chair relaxation and sandcastle-building are the order of the day. You can also take a boat trip or walk the Pembrokeshire Coast Path from this iconic town.
