Enjoyment in summer and winter

Whatever season you go, there is always something to do at the park. In summer, children enjoy playing outside in the playground, at the swimming pool or at Kronenburger Lake. Challenge each other to a game of table tennis. Explore the surroundings by bike or mountain bike or take a brisk walk. When the temperature drops and everything is covered in a layer of snow, you can ski and cross-country ski through the fairytale landscape and warm up by the fireplace.

Staying in unusual half-timbered houses

The first thing you notice when you arrive are the detached holiday villas in half-timbered house style with room for up to 14 people. Half-timbered houses are an architectural gem of the past, where craft and tradition meet. The characteristic wooden construction, visible with its cross-beams filled with masonry or loam, shows craftsmanship typical of this region. A special house for a special stay.

Karting circuit Dahlemer Binz

Germany's longest karting circuit is located right next to Dahlemer Binz airport. Long straights and bends that call for overtaking manoeuvres make for fun. The track has a wide run-off area for extra safety.

Kyll cycle path

The Kyll cycle path is 125 km long and runs from Weywertz (Belgium) to Trier. You start at Stausee and head towards Belgium or Trier. The route takes you past places such as Lake Bütgenbach and Stadtkyll.

Hiking in the Eifel

Experience the fascinating landscape of the Eifel, with its breathtaking views, romantic streams, rocks and stone formations. Follow one of the hiking trails: Eifeler Quellenpfad, Vulkanpfad or Moorpfad. Walk through plains and peat bogs.
