If you prefer staying on land, try activities like beach volleyball or table tennis. Drenthe is famous in the Netherlands as the top place for walking and cycling: take a scenic bike ride from the park or go explore the Drentsche Aa National Park and the Hart van Drenthe nature area. A walk by the dolmens nearby is also highly recommended. For thrill-seekers, a day at the nearby Slagharen Amusement Park or WILDLANDS Adventure Zoo is a great option.
