You can swim, paddle and build sand castles on the recreational beach at lake Et Wiede. Here, Frisian nature and glittering water merge together. It is the perfect place for rest and fun. Plunge into the water for cooling off and swimming fun or relax on the sunny beach with panoramic views of the lake and surrounding greenery.
Food and drinks
All stays are equipped with a kitchen and dining area to enjoy a home-cooked meal. A 5-minute drive from the park takes you to the villages of Echtenerbrug and Delfstrahuizen for shopping or dinner at e.g. Eetcafé Dikke Tút. In the other direction, you drive 15 minutes to Wolvega for cosy, Frisian cafés and restaurants. Italian, grill or Chinese and from lunch to dinner.
 Sport and games
Enjoy a day of beach and water fun at the park on Lake Et Wiede. Throw the rod out there to catch a fish together. To do so, you must have a fishing licence. Rent a boat at the marina 400 metres from the park and be captain of your own Frisian water adventure.
