Sustainability is in our DNA
We’re reducing CO₂ emissions per guest, working to minimise waste, using eco-friendly cleaning products and tackling food waste. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. At all our holiday parks at home and abroad, we’re 100 per cent committed to sustainability. The Green Key certification is our minimum standard. Building on that foundation, we’re taking our 6 sustainability programmes further, using each theme to take the next step towards an even greener future.

Green Key explained

Green Key is the leading international quality mark for sustainable businesses in the hospitality sector. Green Key aims to promote sustainability in the tourism and leisure industry and to reduce its environmental impact. Every two years, independent assessors visit the premises and carry out an assessment.

If you meet all the mandatory standards, you will receive or retain your Green Key certification. These include basic environmental standards, ranging from monitoring and saving gas, water and electricity to reducing the amount of (residual) waste. Other categories assessed include management, communication, social engagement, construction and green spaces, mobility, textiles and sustainable procurement.
