Indoor play area

There’s plenty to do even when the weather isn’t so good. Children can play and explore in the indoor play area whilst you take some time to relax.

Sandwich service

Start your day with fresh sandwiches from the sandwich service. Pick them up in the morning at the ParkShop and enjoy a relaxing meal in your own accommodation.

Facilities at De Wielsche Dreef holiday park

At Landal De Wielsche Dreef, you’ll find a range of facilities to make your stay even more comfortable. Pop into the mini-ParkShop for essential groceries or a tasty snack. Fancy exploring the area? You can hire bikes at the park to discover the Betuwe and its dykes, orchards and villages. And for our younger guests, there’s an indoor playground where they can let off steam. In the immediate vicinity of the park, you’ll also find even more options for activities and day trips. Come rain or shine, there’s always plenty to do.

Nature discovery area

The park features a nature discovery area where you can learn more about the Betuwe’s natural environment whilst walking. Follow the route and discover information along the way about plants, animals and the importance of bees. A peaceful spot in the park where you can pause together to reflect on everything that grows and lives in the surrounding area.

Walking to Eck en Wiel

From the park, you can easily walk to Eck en Wiel, a small village in the Betuwe. Here you’ll find a few basic amenities and a number of restaurants where you can stop for lunch, dinner or a drink. Nearby is also the ferry across the Lower Rhine, which allows you to easily cross over to Amerongen. A lovely destination for a short walk from the park.

Walking and cycling

Landal De Wielsche Dreef is the perfect starting point for your next adventure. From the park, you can head straight onto the dykes of the Lower Rhine, where you’ll enjoy sweeping views across the water. Follow a scenic route towards Maurik or Rijswijk, perhaps stopping off at a riverside terrace for a well-earned break. For a change of scenery, take the ferry to Amerongen to explore the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park, home to historic country estates and beautiful trails like the Amerongse Bosroute. With an extensive network of cycle junctions throughout the Betuwe, it is easy to plan anything from a gentle stroll to a full day’s exploration.

New facilities on the horizon

Looking ahead, Landal De Wielsche Dreef is set to open a stunning new main building. From a refreshing indoor pool to a large-scale indoor play area for the kids, the new centre will be the perfect place for family fun.
