Cancellation fees

If you were unable to select a break option when booking and your arrival is more than 45 days away, the following applies:

• Free cancellation within 72 hours of booking
• After 72 hours, but more than 6 weeks before arrival, you pay 50% of the total cost
• Within 6 weeks of arrival, you pay the full cost

If your booking was made between 45 and 5 days before arrival, you can cancel free of charge within 24 hours. Have you made a booking with an arrival date within 5 days? In that case, it is not possible to cancel free of charge.  

If you have made a booking via our website for Vakantiepark De Katjeskelder with an arrival date more than six weeks away, you could choose one of the following options when booking: Basic Break, Flex Break or Super Flex Break. In that case, the cancellation fees depend on the break you have chosen.

• Basic Break
  • Free cancellation within 72 hours of booking
  • After 72 hours, you pay the full holiday cost
• Flex Break
  • Free cancellation within 72 hours of booking
  • After 72 hours, but more than 6 weeks before arrival, you pay 50% of the holiday cost
  • Within 6 weeks of arrival, you pay the full travel sum
• Super Flex Break
  • Free cancellation up to 6 weeks before arrival
  • Within 6 weeks of arrival, you pay the full travel sum

If you have made a booking between the 13th of January and the 28th of May 2026, you can cancel free of charge within 72 hours of booking, unless your arrival is within 45 days. If these 72 hours have passed, but there are still more than six weeks before your stay begins, you will pay 50% of the total travel sum. If you wish to cancel within six weeks of arrival, you will pay the full travel sum.

If the booking was made between 5 and 45 days before arrival, you can cancel free of charge within 24 hours.

If you have made a booking between the 3rd of July 2025 and the 13th of January, you can cancel free of charge within 14 days if your arrival is not within 42 days. After 14 days, there will be a charge for cancelling. The cancellation fee is 30% of the total travel sum up to 30 days before arrival. Is the arrival date within the next 30 days? Then you will pay 100% of the total travel sum.

If you made a booking between the 10th of December 2024 and the 3rd of July 2025, the cancellation fee up to 30 days before arrival is 30% of the total amount. From 30 days before arrival, you will pay the full amount.
