Walking the mud flats from Ameland
If you're staying at Landal Ameland State, you can take a nice mud flat trip from Ameland to Holwerd in Friesland. The trip takes 4 hours and is somewhat lighter than the reverse trip (from Holwerd to Ameland) because there is less water on the mud flat. Would you rather take it easy?
