The largest affiliated flower bulb region in the Netherlands is located in the northernmost tip of North Holland. Admire the vast colourful fields from your car, or even better: walk or cycle through the flower fields.

Het Zwanenwater nature reserve

The two largest natural dune lakes in Western Europe are located in Het Zwanenwater. Spot various species of plants and birds here. In early summer, the nature reserve is in bloom with thousands of orchids.

Ease into the day and maybe plan what to do. Shall we visit the exciting Fort Kijkduin? Or relax on the beach and take a swim? Explore the nearby area? You can take your bike or rent one in the park to venture out. Enjoy the fresh air and the stunning natural landscape. Back at your luxury lodge, you can unwind on the veranda with a drink.

Callantsoog is a perfect holiday spot. It's charming, cozy, and welcoming. Walk or bike through the dunes to reach one of the Netherlands' best beaches. It's wide with beach pavilions nearby for snacks and drinks. The Zwanenwater dune area is ideal for nature walks: you'll see cormorants, orchids, butterflies, and mushrooms. In Callantsoog's small center, there are lovely terraces and dining places. Every Wednesday evening in summer, there’s a fair. If you want a vacation by the North Sea but find Scheveningen and Zandvoort too busy, then Callantsoog is just the place for you
