Landal Announces CEO Transition

Dear board members and homeowners,
We would like to share an important leadership update. After six successful years with our organisation, Mikael Andersson has decided to step down as CEO of Landal. We are deeply grateful for his dedication, leadership, and the strong position in which he leaves the company.

During his tenure, Mikael guided Landal through a major phase of transformation, most notably the successful integration of Roompot and Landal GreenParks into one unified organisation. Under his leadership, we established a single international headquarters in Amsterdam, aligned our operating model and commercial platform, and strengthened our position as the clear market leader. These achievements reflect Mikael’s vision and his commitment to building a winning organisation for the long term.

A formal search for our next CEO is now underway. In the interim, Martijn Bouquet, Chief Transformation and Strategy Officer, will take on the day-to-day CEO responsibilities to ensure continuity in our operations and strategic agenda, with my support in my role as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. As a strong Executive Team we will continue delivering for you, our guests and our employees.

I want to share the news that I will be stepping down from my role as CEO of Landal. This moment naturally comes with mixed feelings, but also with a great sense of pride in everything we have accomplished together over the past six years.

It has been an extraordinary journey. We have navigated major changes, embraced one new brand, and built a stronger, more unified platform. Along the way, I have been consistently inspired by our teams’ commitment to you and our guests, their resilience through periods of transition, and the collaborative spirit that defines this company.

Landal is in a very strong position today, with a talented leadership team, clear momentum, and an exciting path ahead. I have full confidence in the organisation and in its future. Martijn will guide the company through this transition, supported by the entire Executive Team, and I know the business will continue to thrive under their leadership.

I am deeply grateful for your trust in Landal. While I will be moving on from my role, I will continue to follow Landal’s progress with great interest and pride.
