Landal GreenParks wins big at Park Holidays Awards 2025

At the annual Park Holidays Awards ceremony today, Landal GreenParks once again won big. Not only did the company win the prestigious ‘Most popular provider’ award, but four individual holiday parks were also honoured. In addition, four of the five nominated parks received awards, bringing the total for Landal GreenParks to nine Park Holidays Awards this year.

Oscars of holiday parks

The Park Holidays Awards are also known as the Oscars of holiday parks. They come about on the basis of votes from visitors to recreation platform Parkvakanties, who could vote in 15 categories. This makes the awards true audience awards. ‘And that is exactly why we are so proud of this result,’ said Jeannette ten Kate, spokesperson for Landal GreenParks. ‘With our dedicated teams, we work hard every day at all our locations to give our guests an unforgettable holiday experience. The fact that they reward those efforts with no fewer than nine Park Holidays Awards means that our work is seen and appreciated.’

Hof van Saksen wins most awards

Among the individual parks, the luxury resort Hof van Saksen in Nooitgedacht, Drenthe, was also a big winner last year, and this year it hit the mark again.

The park won the awards for:

  • ‘Holiday park with swimming pool’,
  • ‘Luxury holiday park’
  • Holiday park with wellness' and
  • Holiday park with restaurant'.

Other Landal parks score fantastic too

Four Landal parks can put a Park Holidays Award in their trophy cabinet this year. Landal Miggelenberg, beautifully located in the woods of the Veluwe, received the most votes for ‘Holiday park in nature’. Landal Twenhaarsveld not only has special dog bungalows, but also, for example, walking routes, a dog swimming pond, a free-range area and a dog menu in the restaurant. This focus on four-legged friends was rewarded by visitors with the ‘Holiday park dog-friendly’ award. Beautifully located in the dunes, Landal Strand Resort Ouddorp Duin received the award for ‘Holiday park on the coast’ and across the border, Landal Mont Royal became the most popular ‘Holiday park Germany’. The Park Holiday Awards were festively presented to the various Landal teams on Thursday 16 January.
