Cairngorms National Park
The Cairngorms National Park is the largest protected wilderness in the UK. It also boasts four of the five highest mountains in the UK, as well as native forests, mighty rivers, remote lochs and historic castles. Brimming with wildlife, you can spot deer, red squirrels, eagles and osprey, among many other species.
Camperdown Country Park
Just four miles from Dundee, and open all year round, this fabulous country park covers 400 acres surrounding the neo-classical Camperdown House. Boasting more than 190 species of tree, there's a Tree Trail to follow, a wildlife centre to explore, which houses animals from all over the world, and a play complex with state-of-art equipment for all ages - the perfect family day out.
Whisky distillery tour
The world's only Malt Whisky Trail is a jewel in the Speyside region, providing an immersive tour of nine active and historic distilleries, where you’ll meet the men and women who are the guardians and masters of whisky production today. At each site you can join a guided tour - and, of course, enjoy a taste of Scotland’s national drink.
