Into the water from your villa
From your villa at Waterpark Terkaple, you can dive straight into the water! All villas have a garden and a private mooring and some villas can accommodate between 4-6 people. This gives you space for your boat and you can always take a refreshing dip in the summer. From the park, you can sail onto the Frisian Lakes for a lovely day out on the water.
Discovering the Frisian countryside
Get on your bike and ride past mounds and farms. With lots of water, polders and towns, the Frisian landscape is very versatile, allowing you to discover something new every day. The town of Sneek is also just around the corner from the park. This town is full of nice restaurants, monuments and museums and definitely worth a visit! And of course ice-skating city Heerenveen is also just a stone's throw away, who knows, you might be able to skate some laps there!
Water sports galore
Friesland is known for its water. Of course, skûtsjesilen is a well-known concept here. This is a sailing competition with old cargo ships and is not to be missed during your visit to Friesland in August. But of course many other water sports are possible, such as supping, pedal boats and canoeing. And of course you can also sail a nice round with your own boat.

Welcome to Waterpark Terkaple
When you picture Fryslân, you imagine wide-open, green fields, cows grazing, and endless waters with white sails in the distance. A drawbridge slowly lifting. Old farmhouses on historic hills. Churches rising above the landscape. In the southwest of this special part of the Netherlands is the Terkaplester poelen: a lake that is part of the Sneekermeer area. Within this scenic setting is Waterpark Terkaple: a haven for nature and water sports fans. The park offers lovely, spacious houses by the water, each with its own dock. Can you see it? You step from your boat onto your terrace, sinking into the soft cushions of comfy lounge sofas.
