If you’ve watched Snow White and the Huntsman, then you’ve seen Cathedral Cave – and you’ll almost certainly be wanting to go there! Standing at an impressive 40 feet in height, and dramatically lit through windows in the rock, it’s the main chamber of a network of former slate-mining tunnels and caverns at Cathedral Quarry in Little Langdale, Cumbria. It’s an easy walk to reach the quarry from the village. Top tip: have your phone torch at the ready for exploring some of the tunnels!
