 Hiking and cycling
Around 295km of hiking trails and alpine paths lead through the Rauris Valley. There is enough choice for a hiking holiday with the whole family. For example, follow one of the themed trails or take part in a national park excursion to the 'Valley of the Vultures'. The special features of the national park will be explained to you. Cyclists can look forward to the mountain bike trails on the Kitzsteinhorn, which are among the most challenging trails in the Salzburg region. The Tauern Cycle Path is a little more leisurely and runs 270km from Krimml to Passau.
