Take a walk through nature and climb the 40 metre high Bostoren tower with a view of Amersfoort and the polder. The area is also perfect for exploring by bike. Bring your own bike or hire one from the park and cycle to Landgoed Schovenhorst and discover the historic garden

Sports and games during your holiday make for a nice change. There are plenty of opportunities for this at the park. Play a game on the tennis court, football pitch or volleyball court. Lovers of mini-golf will also find what they are looking for at Veluwse Hoevegaerde. Prefer to swim a few lengths or play in the water? That is possible in the indoor and outdoor pool.

To Harderwijk, Apeldoorn or Amersfoort?

To Harderwijk, Apeldoorn or Amersfoort?
Putten's convenient location makes it easy to visit surrounding places by bike or car. Visit the Dolfinarium or the cosy old centre of Harderwijk. Those who prefer shopping can go to Amersfoort for a day of shopping and a nice lunch. Do not forget to go to Apeldoorn for a visit to Paleis het Loo or the Apenheul.

Sun or rain, swimming is always an option. The park has both an indoor and outdoor pool, perfect for a refreshing dip. The outdoor pool is heated and open from May to the end of September. There is a paddling pool for the little ones, packed with indoor and outdoor play equipment for them to play and splash in peace.
 Food and drinks
For your daily shopping, visit the mini market. Don't feel like cooking? Then come and enjoy a dinner in the restaurant. The menu offers plenty of dishes, there's something for everyone. A quick and easy bite can be found at the snack bar. Freshly prepared fries and a wide choice of snacks are on the menu. The opening hours of the catering outlets can be found in the app.
 Kids
Children need not be bored for a moment at Veluwse Hoevegaerde. The little ones can cuddle with the animals at the children's farm or expend their energy in the playground and on the air trampoline. Splashing in the paddling pool is also possible. Both indoor and outdoor (May to the end of September) pools are available.

Action lovers have come to the right place. Besides hiking and cycling, there are more than enough opportunities to be sporty. Play a game of tennis with each other or catch up at the mini-golf course. Larger groups can play a game of football or volleyball. Or be creative and invent your own game on the sports and games field.
